The Board of Directors encourages owners and guests to respect and appreciate the wildlife
within our community.
Alligators are part of Florida’s natural wildlife. They will be seen throughout the year by anyone
residing in or visiting our community, more so from April when courtship and mating begin and
continues through September when hatching happens.
Alligators will commonly be observed in or around lakes or ponds but could be encountered
roaming anywhere anytime. Always be observant and cautious.
Do not feed alligators. It’s illegal, dangerous and can likely encourage aggressive behavior. And
they can climb fences.
If you believe an alligator poses a threat, please contact Florida’s Wildlife Conservation
Commission’s Alligator Hotline at 866-392-4286 or visit its website for further information:
https://myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/wildlife/alligator/snap/ or search Florida Statewide Alligator
Nuisance Program.
Neither the HOA board nor the management company assumes responsibility to notify the
authorities. If you see something and believe you are threatened simply report it by calling the
State of Florida’s Alligator Hotline.
